Preparing for Audit:
One-day workshop for non-self accrediting higher education providers
Participants
This workshop is for non self-accrediting Higher Education Providers that have become or are intending to become approved providers under the Commonwealth Higher Education Support Act 2003. Such providers are required to undergo periodic quality audit.
Workshop Objectives:
The workshop is designed to assist higher education providers to consider the quality audit requirement, the planning that will need to be undertaken, and challenges that are often encountered.
The workshop will be interactive, using the experience of the facilitators and the participants to share approaches and ideas. Its objectives are:
- To assist participants to identify key issues and challenges in preparing for quality audit
- To consider the ADRI continuous quality improvement model and workshop the types of questions providers might ask themselves
- To examine approaches to the development of quality management systems and the assignment of responsibilities
- To share experiences and approaches to conducting a self-review and preparing a portfolio.
