AUQA TNE Auditor Training

AUQA has received additional funds from DEST to strengthen our approach to auditing offshore provision. One of the activities that AUQA is initiating as part of this approach is Auditor Training Workshops focussing on issues in relation to auditing the Australian universities’ activities offshore. AUQA held one workshop on the topic in October 2005 in Melbourne, and the second workshop was held in Sydney 10 April 2006.

The workshops are targeted towards AUQA’s Australia based auditors. The workshop comprises the following topics:

  • AUQA approach to auditing offshore
  • University Quality Assurance of offshore activities
  • Auditing offshore partners, agents and campuses respectively
  • Language requirements and IELTS levels
  • Country Visits
  • Cultural tips when auditing offshore
