Auditor Meeting – 11 July 2007

The Auditor Meeting 2007 will be at Wrest Point Hotel, 410 Sandy Bay Road, Sandy Bay, in Hobart and is only open to AUQA honorary auditors. The registration desk for the 2007 AUQA Auditor Meeting will be located in the Foyer from 8.30am. The Auditor Meeting will run from 9am – 4pm on Wednesday 11 July. A copy of the final program will be circulated prior to the meeting.

Auditor Dinner

AUQA will organised an informal dinner for the evening of Tuesday 10 July, the venue to be advised. Attendance is optional and AUQA will cover the costs of this dinner.

The theme for the Meeting is Preparing for Cycle 2 Audits

The aims of the meeting are:

• Provide an update on developments over the last year, including auditing non-self accrediting HE providers.
• Brief Auditors on AUQA’s approach to Cycle 2 audits.
• Discuss the implications of the changes to the approach for the audit process.
• Discuss auditing of standards and outcomes.

Travel and Accommodation

For Australian-based auditors, AUQA will cover return airfares (economy class). For auditors based outside Australia, AUQA will support travel costs to a maximum of A$500.  AUQA can organise suitable travel for any auditor coming to the Meeting, if you wish us to do so please contact Claire Gresty.  Alternatively you can make your own flight bookings and claim reimbursement.

AUQA will also cover appropriate accommodation at the meeting venue, if you haven’t booked this online in conjunction with an AUQF registration, please contact Claire Gresty as AUQA would like to take advantage of the special delegate’s rate.

Catering

Morning tea, afternoon tea and lunch will be served. Special dietary requirements indicated via online registration will be available for you. If you have special dietary requirements that you have not yet indicated, please notify Claire Gresty.
