Auditor Meeting – 5 July 2006

The Auditor Meeting 2006 will be at the Parmelia Hilton, 14 Mill Street, in Perth and is only open to AUQA honorary auditors. The registration desk for the 2006 AUQA Auditor Meeting will be located in the Foyer from 8.30am. The Auditor Meeting will run from 9am – 4pm on Wednesday 5 July. A copy of the program will be circulated prior to the meeting.

Auditor Dinner

AUQA has organised an informal dinner for the evening of Tuesday 4 July, the venue is The Globe (Private Dinning Room) at the Parmelia Hilton. Attendance is optional and AUQA will cover the costs of this dinner.

The theme for the Meeting is The Review of AUQA and AUQA’s Cycle 2

The aims of the meeting are to:

• Present and discuss the results of the external review of AUQA and AUQA’s initial action plan
• Present a status on the plans for cycle 2 audits and discuss issues in relation to method which arise from the plans for the future.
• Present major developments for AUQA over the last year

Travel and Accommodation

For Australian-based auditors, AUQA will cover return airfares (economy class). For auditors based outside Australia, AUQA will support travel costs to a maximum of A$500.  AUQA can organise suitable travel for any auditor coming to the Meeting, if you wish us to do so please contact Elizabeth Burke.  Alternatively you can make your own flight bookings and claim reimbursement.

AUQA will also cover appropriate accommodation at the meeting venue, if you haven’t booked this online in conjunction with an AUQF registration, please contact Elizabeth Burke as AUQA would like to take advantage of the special delegate’s rate of $155 per night.

Catering

Morning tea, afternoon tea and lunch will be served.  Special dietary requirements indicated via online registration will be available for you.  If you have special dietary requirements that you have not yet indicated, please notify Elizabeth Burke.
