Awards

At AuQF2010 awards for Best Paper ($1800), Best Presentation ($1800), and Best Workshop ($1800) were presented.

The following generic conditions apply for all award categories:

  • The awards will be presented during the closing session on Day 3 by Professor Joyce Kirk, Chair of the JSG for AuQF2010.
  • The winning submissions will be featured on the AuQF web site after the Forum.
  • The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  • The judges reserve the right not to award Best Paper, Best Presentation or Best Workshop.

AuQF2010 BEST PAPER AWARD

Assessment Criteria:

  • Presents original and accurate scholarly work or practice.
  • Is comprehensively detailed and stand-alone.
  • Provides useful insights that stand to benefit the AuQF audience.
  • Is topical, having regard to both the Forum theme and the contemporary higher education context.
  • Is presented in a manner consistent with best academic standards, including due referencing, irrespective of whether it is theoretical or practical.
  • Would set the standard for future AuQF papers.

  • Highly topical and has regards for the both the Forum theme and the contemporary higher education context.
  • Would set the standard for future AuQF workshops.
