The AUQA Board comprises:
- three directors appointed by the Commonwealth
Government;
- three directors appointed by the State and
Territory Governments;
- four directors elected by the Chief Executive
Officers of Australian self-accrediting higher education
institutions;
- one director elected by the Chief Executive
Officers of Australian non-self-accrediting institutions;
and
- a chief executive officer.
